• Wix's help account, @WixHelp, describes itself as "monitored Monday through Friday, 4am - 7pm EST." Its last public reply was on April 19, 2026, and its last post of its own on August 1, 2025. People have kept writing to it since: about unpaid store payouts, site outages and cancelling payments.
• When people did get an answer about billing, it was that billing "can't be resolved on social media," with a request to send a direct message or contact the billing team.
• I ran seven searches on X for Wix posts since October 2025 about charges, refunds, renewals and cancelling, including replies to Wix's own account. Of 255 posts, 21 are from people describing a Wix billing problem of their own. Two say Wix did refund them. One says their card company sent Wix their new card number automatically, the same thing three people describe on Reddit.

• Cancelled and moved their domain away; Wix then asked for a form before releasing their data.

How I counted

• I collected every Wix review and complaint listed on PissedConsumer, SmartCustomer and ComplaintsBoard as of October 19, 2026, and read each one against the same codebook I used for the Trustpilot reviews.
• A complaint counts as "billing" if billing is its main subject. The problems it describes are counted only when the person says so in plain terms.
• PissedConsumer doesn't give each review its own page, so those links go to the page of the listing that holds it. ComplaintsBoard links go straight to the complaint.
• The same person can post on more than one site, or on Reddit and here. I couldn't match people across sites, so some may be counted twice. One likely case: a UK customer who says auto-renew was off and was charged £360 appears on ComplaintsBoard in October 2025, and a very similar story is on Reddit in March 2026.
• These are people's own accounts. I haven't checked them, and Wix hasn't answered most of them.
